#1 – Make Your Tradeshow Display Unique

The most important tip when it comes to tradeshow displays is to make your booth unique and choose a memorable shape that people will notice and make them want to come over to your booth to find out more about your business, product or service.

You know the one thing that rocks trade shows is the swag right? If you’ve been to more than one trade show before you will remember the swag that was given away and you shouldn’t hesitate to invest in some great promotional items to give away from your tradeshow display because, promotional items have a high pass along rate and are remembered long after the trade show is over.

#3 -  Host A Game And Offer Prizes

Let’s face it, most trade shows are boring and adults are really just grown up “kids” so you can make your tradeshow display even more memorable by hosting a game and offering prizes to people who aren’t afraid to participate in your game.

#4 – Demo Your Service Or Product

During the tradeshow make sure that you’re staying active on social media and posting tons of pictures from your tradeshow display on the floor as well as video.

It’s also best to follow and send friend requests to other tradeshow attendees and exhibitors so they are aware of your presence at the tradeshow because everyone will have their phone with them and most people will be actively checking their email or social media updates while at the tradeshow.

#7 – Follow Up!

Last of all, but most important, ALWAYS follow up with leads that you get from the tradeshow floor! This tip is important because many people will toss business cards that they get at tradeshows onto their desks when they get home and then forget about them when those cards represent LEADS so you should always view the leads that you get from your tradeshow display as golden and follow up with them after the tradeshow is over.
